HiredMode encrypts candidate profile data and extracted evidence inside its standalone database.
Resume handling
Uploaded resumes are parsed in memory. Extracted text becomes encrypted, reviewable evidence; the raw file is not stored as a public asset.
Account identity
The account table stores a one-way email lookup hash, not the readable email address. Transactional delivery recipients are encrypted separately.
Transactional email
After Free signup, HiredMode may send one welcome/access email through the configured AgentMail inbox. The encrypted local receipt stores delivery status and provider IDs. It is not a marketing subscription.
External actions
HiredMode does not submit applications, scrape LinkedIn, publish profile data, or automate outreach. It prepares career drafts for human review only.
AI providers
Local deterministic feedback works without a provider. When a foreground provider is configured, only the minimum answer context required for the requested feedback is transmitted.
Demo boundaries
Opportunities, companies, sources, and benchmarks in the local build are labeled as demo data and must not be represented as live hiring intelligence.
